Things Start & Things Finish…
I just finished a 90 minute webinar with my co-author Stephen Hundley and my friends at World at Work. I laughed, I made jokes, I wrote down a couple of new things Doc. Hundley said (I tend to steal his material while forgetting to give him credit… go figure).
My son flew in from Wyoming to be at his grandfather’s funeral in the morning. My wife and I are packing, we meet with clergy tonite to talk about last minute items that haven’t properly been dotted or crossed.
My dad’s funeral is in the morning, visitation over by mid-afternoon… and then done.
“done-done”
For something that i thought would never happen, “never” came and went in a flash.
Friends and family will go their separate ways. Memories will have been shared, friendships renewed, stories told.
Lots of laughter, my dad was a funny man.
Lots of tears, my dad was a loved man.
And then lots of laughter, as we all know my mom has to put up with him for EVER.
So, who gets the last laugh?

Marc-
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Hopefully, your Dad is in a better place.
